CHAMBER CHAT – March 2019 B. Halfin 03/01/19
This crazy up and down weather has my plants wondering if they should start blooming or not?!
Regardless, the green season of Spring is around the corner and let’s hope it dries up a bit for our Fulshear neighbors St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Shindig on Saturday, March 16th, which is FREE & open to the public, so put on some GREEN and get out there enjoy if you can!
Right here in Wallis the American Legion Post 200 hosts Public Dances monthly and this March 30th dance features Charles & The Fabulous Four, but also commemorates the 100th anniversary of the American Legion. History records state, the American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization. Focusing on service to veterans, service members and communities, the Legion evolved from a group of war-weary veterans of World War I into one of the most influential nonprofit groups in the United States. Whether you dance or not, this would be a great time to join the celebration and enjoy great music in a historic hall with friendly folks, to honor our veterans and service members.
