CHAMBER CHAT – November 2017
B. Halfin   10/29/17

This past Saturday 10/28 was the annual Memorial Herman – Katy, Breast Cancer Fund Raiser at Saddleback Saloon in Sealy, hosted by the Sealy News.  This crazy, fun event consists of festively decorated bras, modeled for auction by local officials and business guys.  All I can say is “WOW” for Way Out Wallis represented by our own City of Wallis Mayor Steve Bockel.  His first runway appearance featured a lighted Sunflower bra, made especially for him by wife Tracie.  Next Mayor Steve took two for the team by displaying additional donated bras, the Eye-Opener and Mardi-Gras themes and along with some dance and wiggle, broke all previous fund raising efforts by boosting in just over $1,000 for Breast Cancer prevention.  GREAT cause and GREAT job by the Mayor from down South of Austin County!
