It’s the season of giving and celebration! A reminder for prospective participates to the 2019 Kids, Cops, and Christmas, deadline for completing an entry form is Monday, December 9th and an entry form can be picked up at Wallis City Hall. Donations to this fabulous program can be made at the First National Bank – Wallis Branch under the Kids, Cops, and Christmas account. Then it’s time to gear up for lots of cheer as the Wallis Chamber of Commerce presents ‘Small Town Country Christmas’ Parade and Party on Saturday, December 21st. This year’s Parade Marshal is the honorable Judge Bernice Burger, Justice of the Peace in Pct. 4 of Austin County. The Parade cost nothing to enter, but does require registration with line-up by 5:30pm. Join the joy by participating in this lighted Parade, which starts at 6pm and routes from the Guardian Angel Catholic Church, down Commerce Street (Hwy 36) and ends at the Wallis American Legion Post 200 where Santa will be waiting to take Wish Lists. December 6-7-8: The Sealy Community Foundation presents the 33rd Annual FANTASY of LIGHTS Christmas in the Caribbean! The Annual Christmas Festival is a long standing tradition complete with a BBQ
cook-off, softball tournament, LIVE snowfall, entertainment, arts & crafts, great food, and culminating on Saturday with a tree lighting, and Annual Christmas Parade! Activities all day and parade begins at 6pm.
