Homeschool Day – A Toast to Texas Family

February 28 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Homeschool Families and Co-Ops are invited to explore Barrington Plantation as we celebrate the anniversary of Texas Independence on Friday, February 28th. This FREE drop-in style event lasts from 9am – 2pm and requires no registration.
While exploring Barrington Plantation, located within Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site, families are able to participate in hands-on activities and visit stations from Texas Revolutionary sites across the state, such as Goliad and the Alamo.
In between visiting stations, take a seat, share a laugh, and watch three different 1830s-1850s period performances. These family friendly performances will occur multiple times throughout the event. *** Schedule TBD***
We hope to see you there! For any questions, please email Jordan.Lucier@thc.texas.gov
