History at Night: Dan Utley & “The History of the Green”

Join us as the Friends of San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site host a special Father’s Day edition of their History at Night evening events on Thursday, May 28 when Texas State University professor and former Texas Historical Commission historian Dan Utley presents a program about his research into golf courses associated with Texas history sites. This program is great for anyone interested in history, golf, recreation, or just knowing more about our area! Mr. Utley is also author of the “Links to the Past: The Hidden History on Texas Golf Courses”, available for sale in our Museum Store.

The museum will be open from 6:30 to 9:00 PM and the event will begin at 7:00 PM.

This event is free to the public, so invite a friend and come ready to learn!
