About Family Hope:
In 2014, a group of pastors and community leaders came together to address the needs of families in the Fulshear-Simonton areas. Out of their compassion and commitment to transformation, Family Hope was born. Today, Family Hope stands as the largest non-profit agency exclusively serving northern Fort Bend County’s residents with essential services such as medical assistance, food, rent and utility assistance, job searches, furniture, and disaster relief.
Mission and Values:
- Mission: “Transforming hurting people into healthy families through the hope of God.”
- HOPE not hopeless: Through the power of Christ, they offer hope.
- UNIFIED not separate: They believe in the strength of community.
- WHOLE not broken: God’s desire is to make the broken and hurting whole.
How Family Hope Serves:
Family Hope follows a strategic approach to serve the community:
- ASSIST: They provide help with food in moments of crisis, which is the focus of this Food Fair.
- EQUIP: They offer resources and support to help people identify, leverage, and develop community assets to improve their lives.
- SERVE: They provide a place for neighbors to connect with resources and organizations to positively impact the community.
