Spring at last! There’s a few fun and also important events slated for April. First and foremost is EASTER and hopefully many of you have been getting the COVID vaccine and able to gather safely with Family and Friends. Break your Cabin Fever and come out for a Public Dance on Saturday, April 10 th at the Wallis American Legion Hall, where’s there’s plenty of room for social distancing. This month’s featured band is Lost Cause, presented by the Happy Cousins Dance Club, call 281-232-3531for Dance Schedule. The City of Wallis Elections are coming up, be informed and attend MEET the CANDIDATES on Thursday, April 15th, beginning at 7pm. Candidates for Mayor; Dennis Diggs and Belinda Halfin. Candidates for City Council; Donna Hoffman, Dennis Kulhanek, Melissa McFarland, Darren Mikeska and Bernadette Parr. Early Voting is April 19-27, 8am-4pm, Extend Hours April 26 & 27, 7am-7pm, Election Day May 1 st at City Hall on 6810 Guyler St., Bldg. B. Local elections are what impact you most directly, your voice and your vote matters!
