CHAMBER CHAT – July 2019                                                                                   B. Halfin  07/02/19

July is a reminder of our hard fought freedom and independence and also a time to remember those Senior Citizens that are less able to be totally independent.  HOA / Meals on Wheels of Austin County answers this call by serving Sealy, Wallis, Brazos Country, Frydek, SanFelipe, Bellville, Industry, Shelby, Bleiblerville, Cat Spring, New Ulm and Kenny communities.  There are two types of services; Home Delivered Meals: hot, nutritionally balanced meals served five days a week to those home bound seniors over the age of 60. Congregate Meals: Hot, nutritionally balanced meals served five days a week at designated locations to those senior citizens over the age of 60.  Meals are provided without regard to finances.  Participates are encouraged to donate, if able. Enjoy a nice cool atmosphere social gathering with other seniors for fun games and educational workshops. Must be 60 plus and fill out application to qualify for meals. For the rest of us, consider donating or volunteering! The HOA / Meals on Wheels of Austin County Office is located at 915 Fydek Rd, Sealy, TX 77474, 979-885-4188 (Office Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-2pm) or Email:
