Rain or Shine it’s time for the WALLIS CITY WIDE GARAGE SALES on Saturday, November 10th!!  The Wallis Development Corporation started this many years ago and it’s become an annual event for bargains & treasure hunting though out Wallis.  For me it’s a GREAT time to pull out all the stuff that I’m not using or no longer need and prepare the house for the Holiday season, but typically I find new stuff to bring back in too!

SAN FELIPE de AUSTIN is hosting the FATHER OF TEXAS CELEBRATION!  Join in Saturday, November 3rd 9am-4pmwith FREE ADMISSION.  Enjoy living history demonstrations, Author talks & book signings, themed tours, visit with Archeologist and tour the new visitor center & museum.  If you haven’t seen this Austin County jewel, here’s wonderful opportunity located at  220 2nd St., San Felipe, Texas 77473. November 10th  Project Hero HONOR RIDE – 703-Columbus Rd, Wallis, TX 77485  Annual fund raising event providing life-saving services for our nation’s injured veterans.  Contributions help ensure healing heros have the resolve to heal mentally, physically and emotionally.  Project Hero is results oriented and veterans who participate in our therapeutic cycling program have reported a 62 percent reduction of prescription drug use.
