The Wallis Chamber had the pleasure of presenting two $1,000 Scholarships at the Brazos High School Awards event on May 22nd. All the scholarship applicants were worthy and it took several rounds of voting to make our 2018 Scholarship selections for Lauren Sadoski and Aaron Zook. We extend our GRADULATIONS and well wishes to all the BHS 2018 graduates.

The Wallis Volunteer Fire Dept.’s annual Fireman’s Frolic fundraiser is coming up on Sunday, June 24th at the Wallis Columbus Club Hall. Join us in supporting the Wallis VFD by purchasing a Raffle Ticket, donating and/or bidding at the auction or just enjoying a great dinner plate!
It’s time for the City of Wallis’ July 4th Celebration again this year at Mynarik Park. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, July 3rd 6pm start for FREE Family Friendly Fun!! Enjoy live music by Al Sulak and the Country Sounds, sponsored by the Wallis Economic Development Corp. and partake in all the food, drinks and give-a-ways, sponsored by many area business’s and community organizations, which will be passed out until the goods are gone.
